Pop star Pink has said she will no longer post photos of her children on social media because her parenting is always criticized.

Jameson, 2, and Willow, 7 usually appear in most of the star’s Instagram photos, but it appears the singer has finally had enough of the trolling.

The 39-year-old was recently criticised because one of her kids wasn’t wearing a nappy so re-uploaded the photo with a black scribble around Jameson’s lower body and wrote in the caption ‘you’re all fucking disgusting’.

“People went as far as saying someone should call child services because he didn’t have a diaper on and how dare I and just like some of the nastiest things,” Pink said when appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

“I cried so hard after that because I like to share my family, it’s my proudest moment. I’m prouder of my kids than anything I’ve done in my whole life and I just won’t share them anymore, I won’t do it. I’m not posting pictures of them anymore.”

The hitmaker added, “So many people on social media go in on me all the time and this one, some people were like, ‘Nice language, I’m sure that came from you’ and ‘What kind of a mother do you think you are?'”

“Then somebody wrote, ‘I’m a speech pathologist at the university of blah blah blah and I thought his… timing was just perfect. You have a very smart kid.’

“And I’m just reading like, ‘I don’t understand positivity’.”

The star also explained why she often replies back to trolls and critics of her parenting.

“There’s a kind way to be online. And I’m open to kindness,” Pink said. “Someone else taught me that the word ‘gypsy’ is derogatory and I’m not a person who uses derogatory language. I wrote back to them, ‘Thank you so much for being so kind and educating me. I’m editing it, I’m taking it down, and that word will never come out of my mouth again’.

“There’s a way to do things.”
